# SkillForge NZ SkillForge NZ, also called SkillForge, builds game-based training and upskilling for organisations, schools and education providers, and individual learners. The business is based in Auckland, New Zealand, and also works with people elsewhere by email and online. The name on the website header is SkillForge. The trading name and the operator name on the terms is SkillForge NZ. They are the same business. This file does not add a phone number, a company number, customer names, or results figures, because the site does not publish those. Canonical site: https://skillforge.nz Email: hello@skillforge.nz Postal address (a mail box, not a place to visit): Suite 1626, Level G, 26 Hobson Street, Auckland City 1010, New Zealand Tagline: Play. Practise. Perform. ## What a course is People step into a game, practise real decisions where mistakes are safe, and finish with a record of learning that they can share. Each game is tailored to the client's content and context. The two courses below are live and ready to pilot. Anything else is shaped with the client, not offered as a ready-made course. How someone takes part: - A web browser. Nothing to install, no account to create, and it works offline, on a laptop or a phone. - It can sit on its own or next to training the organisation already has. - Learners need no account. Progress stays with them until they choose to share it. The courses send nothing anywhere while people learn. - The record is a record of learning, not a qualification. The material is general learning, not legal advice. An ambition, not a feature you can use today: a simple guided interface where a client shapes their own game by answering a few questions about their context. ## Using AI safely at work https://skillforge.nz/using-ai-safely A live course, ready to pilot. For everyone who uses AI tools in their job: what is fine, what is risky, and who to ask. No technical background is needed. It is not a course for engineers and it does not teach coding. People practise those decisions in the game. The scenes are shown in a walkthrough, not on the public page. ## Designing AI agents https://skillforge.nz/designing-ai-agents A live course, ready to pilot. For people planning an AI assistant or agent: how to design one that the people responsible for privacy, security and risk can sign off. No code. It does not build the agent, and it does not claim that a design will be approved. ## Who it is for - Organisations: staff training and upskilling that people choose to finish, with a record you can check and no IT project to roll it out. Inside organisations, teams use it for learning and development, compliance and risk, health and safety, customer conversations, onboarding, and rolling out new tools. Those are uses, not a list of ready-made courses. - Schools and education providers: students practise in the browser, offline, with no student accounts. - Individual learners: people who want to practise on their own, for example to prepare for a test, by playing rather than rereading notes. That is not a claim that a test-preparation course already exists. ## Straight answers What is SkillForge for? Training and upskilling that people learn by playing. It suits subjects where people need to practise and build confidence, not just read. Is it only about AI? No. The AI courses are live today, and they are not the only thing SkillForge can build. Training can be tailored to the client's own subject, content and setting. Who is it for? Organisations first, and also schools, education providers and individual learners. Do you work with people in New Zealand? Yes. SkillForge is based in Auckland and works with organisations, schools and individual learners in New Zealand, and with others by email and online. What do people need to take part? A web browser. There is nothing to install and no account to create, and it works offline. How does it fit with training an organisation already has? It sits alongside what they already use. Learners can send a record when they finish. Where does learner data go? It stays with the learner. The courses need no accounts and make no network connections, and a record only reaches the organisation if the learner chooses to send it. Is it legal advice or a qualification? No. Is it accessible? Accessibility is designed in from the start. Requirements can be talked through. Can we see it before we commit? Yes. An online walkthrough, or a small pilot with one team or class. How much does it cost? It depends on who it is for, how many people and what is needed. The site does not publish prices. ## This website The pages are static HTML and can be read with JavaScript turned off.
